The Program named after British computer scientist Alan Turing, Turing is mostly used as a teaching language at the high school and university level. Two versions exist, Object-Oriented Turing and Turing Plus, a systems programming variant. “Object Oriented Turing” was renamed “Turing” and the original Turing was renamed “Classic Turing”. It is easy to download Turing is available from Holt Software Associates in Toronto. Versions for Microsoft Windows, Linux and Apple Macintosh are available.
