SESP develops, manufactures and sells a complete line of radio frequency jammer equipment. The primary differences between the different rf jammers are their power level (effective coverage radius), number of operating frequencies and form factor.
Radio frequency jammers - also known as RF jammers, bomb jammers, radio jammers, and other radio frequency jammer devices - are designed to prevent other communication devices from successfully operating. RF jamming devices interrupt communications by broadcasting radio transmissions on the particular frequencies used by the targeted devices. Radio jamming is often used to prevent the use of RF devices in a specific area.
A top priority today for all the security agencies protecting VIPs is the threat of roadside bombs (IEDs or RCIEDs). SESP’s JAMV system provides the most effective mobile RCIED neutralization, as it can be hidden inside a number of different luxury vehicles, such as the Mercedes S500L, the BMW 750 or the Toyota Land Cruiser. A complete turn-key solution, the JAMV is an ultrahigh power broad band bomb jamming system which continuously and simultaneously blocks those frequencies most commonly used by Terrorists to detonate roadside bombs. The vehicle is specially customized to accommodate the JAMV jammer unit which is installed in the trunk of the vehicle, supported by a fully integrated cooling system, and powered ny a dedicated alternator. A set of high gain omni-directional antennas is permanently mounted on the roof and rear of the vehicle. A remote control panel is covertly installed next to the Driver/Operator's seat, for complete system control. The JAMV has been designed to ensure continuous effective jamming protection whilst in transit, plus all weather capability. The jamming system will operate continuously in all weather and all road conditions.
